HISTORY
Over the last seventeen years, several hundred businesses in the Midlands and surrounding areas have sought the expertise of MSA Systems in supplying an IT solution to their problems.
Mike Smith – MD started the company in 1989 having worked in the industry for leading UK manufacturer Apricot Computers.
Mike decided to start his own dealership, so he investigated the Accounts Software marketplace, coming to the conclusion that the most flexible software package out there was Sage.
After trading for one year, Mark Jones (now they were known as “Alias Smith & Jones”) was brought in as a fellow Director to assist with the phenomenal growth taking place at the time.
Mike knew Mark from when they worked together at Apricot and it was there that they forged their relationship.
Mark Jones, having had experience of the Construction Industry when working for one of the largest i.e., George Wimpey, was ideal to head-up the new Construct Division at MSA.
Mark’s first task was to appoint Mel Twynam as Construct Consultant at the beginning of 2004.
The division has become a success and continues to grow at a steady pace, culminating in a national preferred supplier status for the National Federation of Builders.
With continued growth year on year, MSA Systems is recognised as a complete “one stop shop” for all the regions computing needs.
